Workshop Projects...

Here are the projects we will be making at the November 12th "Opening Day" on Stamping Season.  Get it...November 12th is Opening Day for Deer Season, so I thought I would do something for the girls.  Card designs are subject to change as I have done a couple that I like better.  :) 

All these projects with just ONE paper pack of BELIEVE.  I incorporated the CTMH Art Philosophy into two of the cards.  There are two of each of the four card designs for a total of 8 cards and the gift box for them to go in.  What a great gift for someone!

How Time Flys...

I did not realize it had been almost a month since I last posted anything.  I have been busy really making new things.  Preparing for the annual Apple Festival the first Saturday in October.  It is a one day festival with tons of activities.  Here are some altered composition books I have made to sell at my booth.

I used a page protector cutting off the spine for the packaging.  I didn't want them to get dirty with people handling them and being out in the open.  I thought if they were packaged they could be presented as a gift just like they are.

Father's Day Fast Approaching

Father's Day will be here before we know it.  I made a couple of cards using the Cherish the Moment D1422 stamp set (in current book $22.95) and Heavenly Blue Cardstock with the Topstick B&T paper (Not in current book).  Ink is Chocolate.  I like to keep my cards fairly simply and not too busy.  Sometimes less is more.

Here is a couple of Mother's Day cards I came up with this past Sunday when my mojo was flowing.

Baby Time...

It's about that time, when everyone is starting to have babies.  So I thought I better get some cards made up.  This is one style of card I haven't done yet.  See what you think:

Cardstock used:  Heavenly Blue 1285, Blush X5640, Colonial White 1388
Stamp Ink:  Cocoa
Stamp set:  B1368 Baby Love (available in the current catalog)
Sparkles:  Blue & Green pack

Scallops at bottom were made with the help of our 1 1/4 circle punch

Sympathy....

Recently my graduating class lost a classmate, which put me in the mood to come up with this sympathy card.  Very simply but elegant. 
The design on the card was stamped on Grey Flannel cardstock with Grey Wook stamp ink and mounted on black cardstock.  The silver gray ribbon is from Wal-Mart.

An entire day of cardmaking....

Had my mojo going this past Sunday...I made over 24 cards!!!  I'm not going to post all of them today.  The ones shown here were inspired by a recent friend's wedding. 

The top left's base design was made with a stamp directly on the cardstock!  Cool uh?  Four of the cards are dimensional although you can't tell from the picture.  I was pleased with how they turned out.  :)

I used CTMH Cardstock in Grey Flannel, Black and White.

Birthday Set

I had two friends who had a birthday this week.  I was invited to have dinner to celebrate.  Well, you can't go to a birthday celebration without a gift!  So I whipped up two card boxes to give them at dinner.  Each box contained 4 cards for various occassions they could use.  This one turned out really cute.  I JUST LOVE the Sophia paper pack it is happy paper.  Makes me smile.  :)

I used the Sophia Paper pack for the patterned paper, Sweet Leef cardstock for the box, Pearl Opaques ($2.95) for the embellishments on the front of the box, Goldrush and Tulip ink.  

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail.....

Here are some Easter cards I've been making.  These are were shown on the frame display earlier. 

 I used Close to My Heart (CTMH) products to make all the cards. 

The gorgeous patterned paper I used was from the Sophia paper pack X7131B ($12.95). I will be ordering this one again! 

The blue cardstock card base is Moonstruck

I used the A Hop A1112 stamp set ($7.95) together with the A Little Everything D1408 stamp set ($22.95)

Project...

Check out the frame using chicken wire for creating a display for my cards.  Frame..price -0-; Chicken wire....price -0-, can of Black Satin paint  cost $3.48...Enjoyment....priceless.  Time to make was about an hour give or take a few minutes. 

Cute uh?  Saw it in a magazine and thought it was a great idea.

EASTER Projects

Here are the projects I will be doing in my Saturday, March 26th workshop.  We will be making 2 pizza boxes, 2 smaller baskets and 1 large basket.  The baskets are a really cute and a great way to present a little gift to a friend.  Oh and let's not forget inexpensive.  They are especially great when there's chocolate in them.  ; )

The small baskets use a 6x6 piece of cardstock and the larger basket is 9x9 piece of cardstock.  The box only takes a 6x11 piece of cardstock.  These are decorated very simple but you cold really doll them up.  They are quick and easy to make!  I swear!

Valentine Cards

Here are two of the cards that we did at the Valentine Workshop in January.

 Colonial White Cardstock - stamped with Cotton Candy and the C1390 So Lucky stamp set.  Down the Pink strip of paper I used PRISMA GLITTER.  This stuff is NEAT!

Colonial White Cardstock stamped with Cotton Candy Ink with the C1390 So Lucky Set. Blush Ink was used to stamp the lips.  Glitter Gel was used to go around the 4 leaf clover. 

WHAT A FUN CARD TO MAKE!!

I saw this card on a blog one day and have been dying to make it.  Well, yesterday I did just that.  I loved it!  It is easy and looks difficult.  I have supplied you with the link to the blog with the instructions so you can make one too.  Or in my case several!

Bridal Shower Invite

I made these invitations for a friend of my daughters (the Maid of Honor) for a bridal shower in March. 

For privacy sake I just put this Congratulations vellum in to show you the shape. 

What I used to create these cards at an approximate cost in supplies of $1.00 for each card:

CANCELLED WORKSHOP - February 5th

Due to our lovely amount of snow we received, I have had to cancel the workshop for this Saturday.  :(  As of right now I have no other workshops scheduled, but will post on soon.
